Sizzle Pie is announcing the opening of their second pizza restaurant. The new location is in the heart of Portland’s West side just across the street from the iconic Powell’s Bookstore. Sizzle Pie West (926 W. Burnside) opened exactly one year after the first location at 624 E. Burnside.

We’re partnering with local creative community center ADX to offer a scholarship for one budding Portland maker. The deserving applicant will have full access to the equipment and tools at ADX for six months. Sizzle Pie will also award one class, a choice of either metal or woodworking for the winner.

To apply please send us a one page story, graphic, illustration, poem, and/or object no bigger than 2′ x 2′ that expresses why and how you would use ADX, your experience with Sizzle Pie pizza,  and how Sizzle Pie and ADX are cosmically connected by October 1st and you just might get a chance to work side by side with some of Portland’s hottest designers and fabricators.
